The Next New Thing

If I had a great idea on a new type of new media that I could've profited off of I probably wouldn't have shared it, but since thats not the case here some random ideas that would be nice to see. One idea could be a new type of cell phone that lets the users see a 3 dimensional projection off who their talking to. This type of technology could be integrated into computer software and gaming to make it even more realistic. Imagine playing a video game where instead of a avatar it was an actual replication of yourself in the game.Another idea is a teleportation machine that would redefine the way all humans travel. To operate this machine you would have to have ports all over where people could enter or exit through. While the technology for this doesn't exist it still great to imagine this type of transportation.
